Character

Our premium sachet tea bags are made with the same first-pick leaf generally reserved only for the highest quality loose leaf teas.

This tea is crafted with the utmost care by tea master Takahiro Uematsu. These sachets are a blend of Saemidori cultivar, a rare cultivar of tea that imparts a sweet flavor and a beautiful bright green color in your cup. Yutakamidori and Yabukita cultivars add toasted nutty notes, body, and depth to its flavor.

A cup that evokes the feeling of standing on a grassy knoll with a refreshing breeze sweeping through, a serene and invigorating presence. The taste is far from what one would expect from a tea bag. A balanced tea with depth, umami, and a refreshing grassy aroma.

For those busy mornings or quiet moments during your travels when you want to savor some peace, this is a great sencha tea companion.

Brewing Details:

Sencha doesn't take long to brew! When you add your hot water, just dunk your tea bag until you get the flavor you like - you don't need to steep it! This way, you can re-dunk and get multiple cups from one sachet as well. To get a sweeter, mellower flavor, cool your water off boiling a bit before dunking your tea sachet.

These sachet tea bags also make excellent coldbrew tea! Just add a tea bag to your water bottle and give it a shake, or let it chill in the fridge (if you love a rich flavor try adding a few tea bags to a large mason jar and chilling overnight!).
